The Seth Morrison Chronicles is a step into Matchstick Productions time machine for a ten-year journey into Seth Morrisons life. The 45-minute interview-style flick, the brainchild of both MSP and Morrison, features never before seen footage and highlights of past sequences. The Chronicles follow Seths plight, capturing everything from hardships and tragedy, to determination and glory. From his first flick in 1992, Soul Sessions and Epic Impressions to the latest Ski Movie III, Matchstick has been there every step of the way. Ten years ago, Morrison, unknown and unsponsored, could sit anonymously in ski lodges. But after taking the skiing world by a storm, placing second at the 1992 U.S. Extreme Skiing Championships, Morrisons fingers are just as busy autographing as his soul is finding sick lines. The production of The Chronicles was a walk down memory lane for me. Although Im not one to live for the past, the older footage is what has helped progress skiing into what it is today, said Morrison. Morrisons skiing, inspired by JT Holmes, the Canadian Airforce, Shane McConkey and other MSP athletes, shares this personal style on and off the mountain throughout the documentary.
