The Rossignol Scratch ST (soft touch) Ski and Snowboard Helmet is a lightweight (480 gr / 17 oz) 2/3 low profile helmet with good ventilation and removable earflaps. There are two mechnical vents that can be opened and closed independantly. These feed arichannels that exit through th rear of the helmet. The earflaps are soft and easily removable. They are held in by large snaps. There are large openings in the earflaps for better hearing. The padding is soft velvet. The finish on the shell has a soft touch (ST) which has a rubber-like feeling. This makes the colors matte-like (vs shiny).
