The Spyder Kyd's Rival Ski and Snowboard Jacket is a top of the line waterproof, breathable jacket with zip off sleeves. The fabric is Nylon Full-Dull Nail Head Weave with XT Coating and Spylon Water Repellent Finish. XT Xoating is only from Spyder and this coating permeates the fabric in such a way that it forms a honeycomb structure with billions of micropores. The pores are too small for water droplets to penetrate making it waterproof but large enough to allow interior moisture vapor through making it breathable. The Spylon Water Repellent Finish is very durable still having a water repellancy of 80% after 20 washings. The insulation in the body and sleeves is Spyder's own ThermaWeb 140gm which is an ultra-warm, high-loft insulation. The collar is ThermaWeb 80gm. Color is Cobalt Blue with Black and White panels.
