The Spyder Rival Men's Jacket is a very high end waterproof breathable jacket with zip off sleeves. This ski and snowboard jacket has lots of separate pockets for radios, phones, goggles, ski pass, data cards etc. This jacket is made of polyester Dobby Weave with Dermizax. DERMIZAX is a smart fabric that consists of an innovative ultrathin monolithic membrane capable of efficiently controlling moisture permeability depending on the microclimate temperature. The body and accent panels are treated with Spylon which is a durable water repellent finish (DWR) applied to the fabric exterior to prevent the garment from absorbing surface moisture. Spylon is a top-rated performer retaining 80% effectiveness after 20 washings. It also guards against water and oil-based stains. The body insulation is Thinsulate 100gm and the sleves are Thinsulate 80gm. Thinsulate insulation is constructed of unique micro fibers, about ten-times smaller than in other synthetics. These efficiently trap insulating air, reflect radiant body heat and deliver warmth two-times greater than down and other polyester insulations when equal thicknesses are compared.
