The Spyder Web Ski and Snowboard Glove has a leather palm, a waterproof breathable insert, and a nylon shell with a waterproof coating. The body of the glove is Nylon Dobby Weave with waterproof coating and water resistant finish. Color is black with a gray web on the back of the hand. The insert has XT Coating. XT Coating is only from Spyder and this coating permeates the fabric in such a way that it forms a honeycomb structure with billions of micropores. The pores are too small for water droplets to penetrate making it waterproof but large enough to allow interior moisture vapor through making it breathable. The palm is drum dyed leather for durability and the fingers and thumb are sueded silicone Gripper leather with a custom Spyder web print for durablity and an excellent grip. The full-hand insulation is Thinsulate 100 gm which efficiently traps insulating air and reflects body warmth delivering two-times greater warmth than down and other polyester insulations when equal thicknesses are compared.
