The casters designed for this type of flooring are encased in a soft rubber surface to provide traction and to prevent damage to the floor's surface. Deep Carpet - This is usually the carpet found in homes. This type of carpet is medium to high pile. The casters designed for deep carpet are slightly larger than standard carpet casters, which facilitates effortless motion through thick carpet.
